FIB UNDIP – An atmosphere full of emotion and pride enveloped the Muladi Dome Building of Diponegoro University, Friday (11/7/2025), when as many as 281 graduates of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB Undip) were officially confirmed in the 180th Graduation Ceremony, which was the closing of the Undip graduation series in 2025 with the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Psychology.
From the total, 280 graduates are graduates of the Bachelor (S1) program, while 1 graduate is from the Master’s program (S2). They now officially hold a bachelor’s degree and are ready to step into a new world, bringing the spirit of culture, knowledge, and human values that have been forged during their studies at FIB Undip.
Judicy: The Moment of Release Before Graduation
Before the graduation peak took place, FIB Undip had held a judicial event on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, as a symbolic step to release students to become alumni. In the event, a warm atmosphere was felt when the graduate representatives delivered their remarks.
In his speech, the representative of the graduates expressed their deep gratitude to the lecturers and educational staff, who have guided them wholeheartedly during the lecture period. Not to forget, he also apologized for all mistakes and oversights that may have occurred while being part of the big family of FIB Undip.
Dean’s Message: Keep the Good Name of Alma Mater
On the same occasion, the Dean of FIB Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., also gave a meaningful speech to the graduates. He expressed his pride in the hard work of all students who had successfully completed their studies, both those who achieved cumlaude and satisfactory.
“All of you are the pride of FIB Undip. Keep working after graduation, and never forget your alma mater. Maintain the good name and dignity of the faculty and university wherever you are,” said Prof. Alamsyah with enthusiasm.
He also emphasized that today’s success is not the end, but the beginning of a long journey towards a wider future. FIB Undip not only produces graduates who excel academically, but also tough, creative, and cultured individuals.
A New Step As A Cultural Citizen
The graduation momentum this time becomes a new journey marker for hundreds of FIB Undip graduates. After years of studying, facing exams, assignments, to various cultural and student activities, now they are preparing to face the real world with a new spirit.
For many graduates, FIB Undip is not just a campus where they learn, but a second home that shapes character, enriches insight, and grows empathy.
Now, the graduates are ready to bring the humanities and cultural values that they have learned to be applied in the community.
