FIB UNDIP – The Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University (FIB Undip) once again made a proud achievement. In the Undip Performance Achievement in the closing of the 68th Diponegoro University Natalis Dis Festival which was held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, FIB Undip won 1st place in the Social Science category.
The carnival which is the closing of the Dies Natalis Undip celebration series is held in a festive way. All faculties appear with their own characteristics and creativity, displaying cultural wealth, innovation, and the spirit of unity of the Undip academic community.
Collaboration of Art, Tradition, and Popular Culture
The appearance of FIB Undip managed to steal attention through a unique and meaningful concept. The combination of traditional art, Japanese culture which is the hallmark of one of FIB Undip study programs, namely Japanese Language and Culture, as well as a touch of modern popular culture, makes their appearance feel fresh and colorful.
Not only that, the creativity of the FIB Undip academic community can also be seen from the presence of Warak Ngendog, a typical icon of Semarang which they display with an artistic touch typical of cultural students. The moment came to life when the Dean of FIB Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., read a poem out loud, describing the spirit of culture and humanity that became the soul of this faculty.

A Victory Worth Celebrating
For the stunning and meaningful performance, FIB Undip was crowned as the 1st Champion in the Social Science category, surpassing other faculties. This achievement is also proof that creativity and cross-cultural collaboration can be the main strength in the academic world.
FIB Undip received a gift worth Rp20,000,000, which was handed over directly by the Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Sc.. The gift presentation was festive and full of pride, becoming a symbol of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the entire FIB Undip team.
The Spirit of Culture that Never Goes Out
This victory is not just about competition, but also about the spirit of maintaining and celebrating culture in the midst of changing times. For FIB Undip, culture is not only a legacy of the past, but also a space of expression that continues to develop and unite various generations.
