FIB UNDIP – The Faculty of Humanities of Diponegoro University (FIB Undip) received an official visit from the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Studies of Jenderal Soedirman University (FIB Unsoed) on Monday, February 2, 2026.
The activity that took place in the FIB Undip Grand Meeting Room became an academic fellowship event as well as a strategic discussion related to educational cooperation, student exchange, and collaboration in publishing scientific journal articles.

In that visit, the Dean of FIB Unsoed, Prof. Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum. was present and received directly by the leadership of the Faculty of Cultural Studies of Undip.

The presence of these leaders and educational personnel shows the commitment of FIB Undip in strengthening the cooperation network between the faculties of cultural studies.
Focus on Education Cooperation and Student Exchange
In the meeting, both parties discussed educational cooperation opportunities, one of which is through a student exchange plan (student exchange) between FIB Undip and FIB Unsoed. This program is expected to enrich the academic experience of students as well as expand scientific horizons across institutions.
Through student exchange, students from both faculties have the opportunity to experience a different academic atmosphere but still be in the same scientific group, namely cultural sciences and humanities.
Encourage Collaboration in Publishing Scientific Journal Articles
In addition to educational cooperation, this meeting also highlighted the discussion of collaboration in publishing scientific journal articles. FIB Undip and FIB Unsoed open up opportunities for lecturer research collaboration that can produce joint publications in national and international scientific journals.
This collaboration is considered important to improve the quality of research, publication productivity, as well as scientific contributions in the fields of culture, language, literature, history, and humanities.
Strengthen Synergy Between Faculty Humanities
This visit is a positive first step in strengthening the institutional relationship between FIB Undip and FIB Unsoed. Both faculties agreed to continue to develop sustainable cooperation, both in the fields of education, research, and scientific publications.
Through this synergy, FIB Undip hopes to continue to play an active role in the development of humanities as well as expanding academic networks with other universities in Indonesia.
