AREA OF EXPERTISE/RESEARCH INTEREST OF LECTURER
My area of expertise is in Knowledge Management, which encompasses thorough study of the process of the management of knowledge in an organization, including creation, storing, sharing and the systematic utilization of said knowledge. Specific research areas include knowledge sharing behavior in academic environments, implementation of IT-based knowledge management systems, development of knowledge repositories and organization knowledge taxonomies and the analysis of factors that affect the effectiveness of the transfer of tacit-to-explicit knowledge. Additionally, research is directed towards developing models of knowledge management maturity, knowledge loss prevention, and strategies for fostering a knowledge-sharing culture in learning organizations.
