Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University (FIB Undip) held the AD/ART Meeting 2025, attended by approximately 160 functionaries from Kabinet Sastra Jaya. This event aimed to establish the organizational foundation and formulate more effective and measurable work programs.

In his opening speech, FIB Undip Dean, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., expressed full support for student activities initiated by BEM FIB Undip. As a former activist who once served as Chairman of the FIB Senate, he understands the dynamics of student organizations and stressed the importance of aligning BEM programs with FIB Undip’s academic and institutional goals.
“We hope students can balance their organizational activities with academic achievements. Their accomplishments should grow, whether in the Student Creativity Program (PKM), entrepreneurship, or other fields at the national and international levels,” said Prof. Alamsyah.
Additionally, the Dean encouraged students to complete their studies on time, within four years for a bachelor’s degree. This ensures that students remain active in organizations while staying focused on their academic targets.
BEM FIB Undip Advisor Highlights the Importance of Critical Thinking and Contribution

Fajrul Falah, S.Hum., M.Hum., as the Advisor of BEM FIB Undip, also provided motivation to the students. As a former Chairman of the Literary and Drama Studies Association (HPSD) KMSI and Head of BEM Research during his student years, he understands the challenges faced by campus activists.
According to him, work meetings serve as a platform for students to think critically, ensuring that the resulting programs are more effective and well-targeted.
“An organization is a golden opportunity for students to contribute and enhance their skills. Even small actions, when done wholeheartedly, can create a significant impact on the environment and the future,” said Fajrul Falah.
Presence of Key Figures as a Form of Support for Students
The presence of Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., and Fajrul Falah, S.Hum., M.Hum., at this event served as a tangible form of support for BEM FIB Undip students. As former campus activists themselves, they understand the psychology and challenges faced by students in organizational activities.
With guidance from experienced seniors and academics, students are expected to become more motivated to create innovative, productive programs that benefit both the campus and the wider community.
