Semarang, March 19, 2025 – Students from the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) at Diponegoro University (Undip), who are part of the ZCreators Indozone writing community, organized a social event to distribute takjil at the Jurang Blimbing Art and Culture Studio in Tembalang, Semarang. This event aimed to strengthen community bonds while supporting the preservation of local arts and culture.
Warm Welcome from Jurang Blimbing Art and Culture Studio
Upon arrival, the ZCreators Indozone members were warmly welcomed by Mr. Supri, the head of RW in the Jurang Blimbing Arts and Culture Village. In his speech, he expressed appreciation for the FIB Undip students’ initiative in organizing this social event.
“We are very happy to welcome FIB Undip students, who have frequently collaborated with our art studio. Events like this are not just about sharing, but also about strengthening the relationship between students and the local community,” said Mr. Supri.
Aulia Faradiva, a representative of ZCreators Indozone, also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with and contribute to the studio. She emphasized that this event was not just about distributing takjil but also about learning more about the rich artistic and cultural traditions of Jurang Blimbing.
Strong Collaboration Between FIB Undip and the Art Studio
Mr. Supri highlighted that FIB Undip is no stranger to the Jurang Blimbing Art and Culture Studio. Over the years, the faculty has collaborated with the studio on various artistic activities, including ketoprak (Javanese traditional theater), kuda lumping (Javanese trance dance), and other cultural performances. Many FIB Undip students have visited the studio for thesis research, coursework, and even thematic community service (KKN Tematik).
One of the ZCreators Indozone members, Nilla Putri Anggraini, inquired about student involvement in the studio’s activities. Mr. Supri explained that student participation plays a crucial role in maintaining the existence of local arts and culture while introducing them to younger generations.

Enjoying the Kuda Lumping Performance and Distributing Takjil
After discussing the history and activities of the art studio, the event continued with a kuda lumping performance. Interestingly, the dancers in this performance were children from the studio’s community, who showcased their talents with enthusiasm and passion. The ZCreators Indozone members were impressed by the dedication and skill of these young performers in preserving their cultural heritage.
Following the performance, the takjil distribution took place. The students shared takjil with the studio’s artists, including children, teenagers, and senior artists who have long been involved in the world of traditional arts. This moment of sharing became even more meaningful as students engaged with the local community and built closer connections.
Full Support from FIB Undip for Continued Collaboration
At the end of the event, Mr. Supri expressed his hope that the collaboration between the Jurang Blimbing Art and Culture Studio, FIB Undip, and Indozone Media would continue. He emphasized the importance of synergy between academia and the arts community in preserving Indonesia’s cultural heritage.
This initiative also received full support from the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum. He reaffirmed that FIB Undip always encourages positive and beneficial activities carried out by students, especially those related to cultural preservation and community service.
“We are proud of FIB Undip students who actively engage in social and cultural activities. Events like this not only benefit the community but also provide valuable learning experiences for students,” said Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum.
With this event successfully held, it is hoped that more students will be inspired to participate in social and cultural activities and continue preserving Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage for future generations.
