On Saturday night, April 19, 2025, the corridor of the History Building at the Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University (FIB Undip), felt different. The atmosphere turned vibrant, filled with cheers, colors, and dazzling lights—all thanks to PANAS 2025, short for Panggung Anak Sejarah (Stage for the Children of History), an annual event presented by the History Student Association.

PANAS is more than just an art stage. It’s a platform for expression, interests, and talents—mainly for History students, but also open to the entire Undip academic community.

Art That Unites Students Across Faculties

With the theme “Kartini Days” combined with the vibes of 2000s music, PANAS 2025 delivered a wide array of performances, from poetry readings, monologues, and dramas to live music by student bands from various faculties.

This year’s music performances were livened up by:

  • A band from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK)
  • WMS (Wadah Musik Sastra)
  • The Pantats (Pemuda Antropologi Takut Akan Tuhan)
  • OPM (Orientasi Pejuang Mahasiswa) from the Class of 2020

These bands didn’t only come from FIB, but also from outside the faculty—highlighting the spirit of inclusivity and togetherness embraced by PANAS 2025.

A “Hot” Night of Euphoria and Passion

The Chair of the History Student Association, Daffa Alifrizky Medi, shared that this year’s event truly lived up to its name, PANAS (hot)—because the energy and enthusiasm were indeed blazing.

“The euphoria was incredible. Students were so hyped for every performance, especially with the 2000s music atmosphere,” said Daffa in an interview.

He added that the main goal of this year’s PANAS was not only to be a space for self-expression, but also a platform for personal development, collaboration, and network expansion across different majors.

Cross-Division Collaboration: From Stage to Student SME Booths

Adding to the uniqueness, PANAS 2025 collaborated with the Campus Harmonization Division of FIB Undip’s Student Executive Board (BEM). Several booths were set up at the venue, creating a mini festival vibe.

Attendees could relax, enjoy the music and poetry, and appreciate performances including those from Japanese Language and Culture (BKJ) students of FIB Undip.

More Open, More Festive

Unlike in previous years, PANAS 2025 was open to students outside FIB, both as performers and spectators.

The night was truly filled with energy. The music did more than entertain, it united students through the spirit of creativity and cultural appreciation.

PANAS 2025 stands as living proof that art is a universal language, capable of bringing together diverse groups. More than just a creative outlet for History students, it created a warm, inclusive space for meeting, sharing, and creating together.
