The committee of UTBK 2025 has officially announced a schedule adjustment for the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) in several regions across Indonesia. This information is crucial for all prospective university students participating in this year’s admissions selection.

The changes specifically apply to the afternoon sessions on certain days and in particular regions within the Western Indonesia Time Zone (WIB). Make sure to read carefully so you don’t miss your schedule on the big day!

What Has Changed?

1. Afternoon Sessions on Monday–Thursday and Saturday–Sunday
Affected Region: Sumatra (excluding Lampung)

  • Old Schedule: 12:30 PM – 4:15 PM WIB
  • New Schedule: 1:00 PM – 4:45 PM WIB
  • Adjustment: A 30-minute delay in the afternoon session schedule.

2. Afternoon Session on Friday

  • Lampung, Java, Central Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan:
    • New Schedule: 1:15 PM – 5:00 PM WIB
  • Sumatra (excluding Lampung):
    • New Schedule: 1:45 PM – 5:30 PM WIB

This adjustment is made out of respect for Friday prayer times and to consider the comfort and preparedness of participants in various regions.

What Does the University Say?

The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., welcomed the new policy positively.

“We appreciate the UTBK 2025 schedule adjustment by the central committee. It shows consideration for the social and cultural context in various regions. We hope all prospective students can go through the UTBK smoothly and achieve the best results,” he said.
