FIB UNDIP – As the end of the 60th Dies Natalis celebration series of the Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University (FIB Undip), the big family of FIB held an Anjangsana activity to the Elders of FIB Undip.
This activity becomes a meaningful moment to strengthen friendship as well as pay tribute to the figures and predecessors who have made great contributions in the long journey of the faculty.
Visiting the Elders, Connecting the Traces of Knowledge
This Anjangsana event was attended by the Dean of FIB Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., together with the representative of the kaprodi and FIB Undip lecturers. They visited several FIB elders, including the former dean of FIB Undip and senior lecturers who have entered their term of office.
In a warm and family-filled atmosphere, the FIB Undip group was greeted enthusiastically by the elders who conveyed various messages, prayers, and memories of the time when they built the faculty in the early days of its establishment.
“The FIB elders are part of the great history of this faculty. Without their services and dedication, FIB Undip will not reach the point we feel today,” said Prof. Alamsyah when giving a speech.
Meaningful Friendship
More than just a formal visit, this Anjangsana activity is intended to strengthen intergenerational relationships, bridging old values that are full of excellence with the new spirit of the current academic community.
Prof. Alamsyah emphasized that friendship with the elders is not only a form of respect, but also a means to ask for prayers, input, and positive support for the sustainability of FIB Undip.
“This activity is to strengthen the bond of friendship, ask for prayers and blessings from predecessors, and get positive advice and support for the progress of faculties and institutions,” he said.
Preserving the Legacy and Spirit of Academic Ancestors
This Anjangsana is a reflection that the journey of FIB Undip for six decades is not the result of the work of one generation, but the result of collective work through time that is rooted in cultural values, humanity, and academic integrity.
The elders also advised that the spirit of togetherness and family that has long been the hallmark of FIB Undip will be maintained and passed on to the younger generation of lecturers and students.
The elders who visited FIB Undip who now feel proud and happy because the faculty has progressed rapidly in terms of facilities, science, and other positive things.
This Anjangsana ke Sesepuh activity closes the entire series of the 60th FIB Undip Christmas Dies with a warm and meaningful feel. After previously holding various activities such as ancestral pilgrimage, cultural seminars, to academic and social events, this visit becomes a symbol of appreciation for the past and prayers for the future.
With the spirit of togetherness, FIB Undip is committed to continue to walk together, preserve the legacy of its predecessors, strengthen the academic culture, and build a future full of blessings and humanity.
