FIB UNDIP – The Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University (FIB Undip) received a visit from students of class XI of Triguna 1956 High School in Jakarta on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. This activity is part of the scientific insight development program organized by the school to introduce students to the public university environment.

This visit took place at the FIB Undip Tembalang Multipurpose Building and was warmly welcomed by the FIB Undip academic community. The event was officially opened through a speech from the Dean of FIB Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., who on that occasion was represented by Eta Farmacelia Nurulhady, S.S., M.Hum., M.A., Ph.D., as the Vice Dean of Academics and Student Affairs.

In his speech, Eta Pharmacelia expressed his appreciation for the presence of Triguna 1956 Jakarta High School in the FIB Undip environment. He explained that this kind of activity is an important forum for students to get to know the academic world in universities more closely, especially in the field of humanities.

“Through this visit, we hope that high school students can get a real picture of life on campus, especially how the learning process in the faculty is based on cultural studies,” he said.

In addition to the welcoming session, the visiting participants also got the opportunity to get to know various study programs at FIB Undip, ranging from Indonesian Literature, English Literature, History, Library and Information Science, Japanese Language and Culture to Social Anthropology. The participants looked enthusiastic to participate in the question and answer session about study opportunities and student life at FIB Undip.

This visit activity not only strengthens the relationship between the world of secondary education and higher education, but also becomes a means for FIB Undip to introduce academic and cultural values that are the hallmarks of the campus.

With this kind of activity, it is hoped that more students will be motivated to continue higher education and contribute to the development of science and cultural preservation in the future.
