FIB UNDIP – Diponegoro University (Undip) officially issued Circular Letter Number 16 of 2025 regarding the restriction of operating hours of the Muladi Dome Multipurpose Building (GSG).
This policy came into effect on November 10, 2025 and was published as a form of campus response to the increasing crime cases, especially robbery, around the campus area and the GSG Muladi Dome area.
Circular letter signed by the Rector of Undip, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., on November 6, 2025 contains several important provisions addressed to all organ leaders, lecturers, educational personnel, students, and users of GSG facilities.
In the content of its circular, the campus emphasized that the operational hours of GSG Muladi Dome are now limited to 23.30 Western Indonesia Time every day. Any activity that takes place outside that time is not allowed, unless you get written permission from the university leader or the building manager. This policy is expected to help reduce potential security insecurity in the campus area.

In addition to time restrictions, Undip also appeals to the entire academic community to be more vigilant when doing activities in the GSG environment. Motor vehicle users, both lecturers, educational personnel, and students, are asked to ensure that the vehicle is properly locked and parked in the official area that has been provided. This simple step is an important part of criminality prevention efforts.
To ensure that the policy runs effectively, the University Central Security Officer and GSG Muladi Dome Security Officer will conduct more intensive patrols. They are also given the authority to take the necessary action to maintain the safety and comfort of all facility users.
Through this circular letter, Undip emphasizes its commitment in creating a safe and conducive campus environment for the entire academic community. The university hopes for the cooperation of all campus elements so that this new rule can be implemented properly and give a positive impact on mutual security.
