In the ranking of CWTS Leiden Ranking Open Edition 2025, UNDIP managed to rank 6th nationally, as well as being included in the ranks of the 10 best universities in Indonesia based on performance and research impact.
This achiement further confirms UNDIP’s position as a research university that consistently presents a real contribution to the development of science and society.
About CWTS Leiden Ranking
CWTS Leiden Ranking is an international ranking compiled by the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University, Netherlands. Different from other rankings, Leiden Ranking focuses on university research performance that is measured objectively through scientific publication data and its impact on the global academic community.
In the 2025 edition, Leiden Ranking includes more universities and types of scientific publications, so that the competition becomes tighter and more comprehensive.
UNDIP Rank 6 National
In the list of the top 10 national CWTS Leiden Ranking Open Edition 2025, UNDIP is ranked sixth, side by side with a number of leading universities in Indonesia. This position shows the strength of UNDIP in producing quality scientific publications that have a significant impact.
