FIB UNDIP – Hello, Culture Citizens! For those of you who have a great interest in developing language competence and global communication, there is interesting news that is a pity to be missed.
Telkom University through Language Center (LaC) again held a prestigious annual agenda, Telkom University Language Festival (LAFEST) 2026.
This year, LAFEST carries a theme that is very relevant to the development of the times, namely “Empowering Global Communication in the Era of SAFE AI”. Interestingly, this competition is free and wide open for active students from all universities in Indonesia, including us at FIB Undip.
Various Challenging Competition Categories
LAFEST 2026 offers various competition categories that are very suitable for the field of study that we study at the Culture Campus. Some competitions that you can join include:
- English: Consists of News Reading Contest, Wordle Tournament, and Speech.
- Korean Language: Korean Reading Challenge which is dedicated to active students.
- BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers): Picture description competition for foreign students who are studying in Indonesia.
In addition to the competition, this event will also be enlivened with Keynote Speech from experts, partner exhibitions, and awards for the winners.
Total Prize of Tens of Millions of Rupiah
Not only getting valuable internationalization experience, the winners also have the opportunity to bring home a total prize of Rp30,000,000. This is a golden opportunity to prove that FIB Undip students are able to compete and excel at the national level in mastering foreign languages.
