AREA OF EXPERTISE/RESEARCH INTEREST OF LECTURER

Desi Susanti is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of History, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Diponegoro. Her research focus centers on the discourses of women’s and gender history, specializing in political representation, colonial-era identity transitions, and civil rights advocacy. In addition to gender studies, her academic scope encompasses the field of economic history. Specifically, she develops interdisciplinary studies that bridge these two realms through the analysis of women’s history from an economic perspective. This approach aims to examine the contributory roles and positions of women within the economic structures of Indonesian history, spanning both the colonial and post-colonial periods.
