FIB UNDIP – There is good news for all students and lecturers in the Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University (FIB Undip) who are preparing to test their English skills. Following up on the official cooperation between FIB UNDIP and the Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF), the faculty has just held socialization and technical briefing on the implementation of the official TOEFL ITP test online.

The virtual meeting held through the Zoom meeting platform was officially opened by the Dean of FIB UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum. In his speech, he said that this program is a concrete step from the faculty to help make it easier for students and lecturers to get official English certification that is recognized nationally and internationally.

Synergy with IIEF for International Standards

In this socialization, the faculty presented a direct representative from IIEF, namely Mr. Hasanudin, to explain all technical instructions regarding exam preparation, registration flow, to the simulation of the online TOEFL ITP test (online test). This detailed explanation is very crucial so that the prospective participants have a good understanding of the required computer device specifications as well as strict rules during the test in order to maintain the validity of the score.

The course of this interactive discussion was also guided by the managers of SEU FIB UNDIP, including Ahmad Fauzan Baihaqi, M.Hum. and Ayu Ida Savitri, S.S., M.Hum., who also helped direct the questions and answers of the participants during the event.

Warm Welcome and High Enthusiasm of Participants

This briefing event was met with great enthusiasm. There are more than 120 participants who join the virtual space, ranging from final year students who are preparing graduation documents and scholarship applications, to teaching staff who want to renew their academic certification.

Through this socialization activity, it is hoped that all prospective participants will no longer encounter technical obstacles or administrative confusion when registering later. For friends who want to register for the nearest test schedule, please directly contact the SEU language service manager at FIB UNDIP.
