
FIB UNDIP – Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University officially opened the international agenda of Summer Course on Indonesian Education and Culture III: Inclusive Education Camp on Wednesday (9/23/2026). The opening ceremony took place in the Seminar Room of the D FIB Undip Building and was opened directly by the Vice Dean of Academics and Student Affairs, Eta Farmacelia Nurulhady, S.S., M.Hum., M.A., Ph.D.
This international scale activity is scheduled to last for six days, starting from 23 to 28 September 2026. This program was initiated by the Master of History with the Department of History of FIB Undip, in collaboration with Nagoya University (Japan) and Emaan Catalyst Community (Singapore).
Encourage the Spirit of Inclusive Education Without Limits
Carrying the theme “Removing Barriers in the Way of Learning”, this third Summer Course program emphasizes the importance of the idea of education for all. Through this agenda, participants are invited to understand a friendly learning environment that can be accessed by everyone without being hindered by age restrictions, physical condition, socioeconomic status, or cultural background.
The first day of the activity was filled with a warm welcome from the faculty leaders, program orientation, and basic gamelan exercises to introduce Javanese cultural arts to cross-country participants.
The participants came from various countries, including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Madagascar, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
Field and Cultural Visit Agenda Series
Over the next few days, participants will participate in a series of structured field activities:
- Inclusive School Visit: Directly reviewing learning activities at SLB Negeri Semarang, SMPN 1 Semarang, SMAN 6 Semarang, SLB Putera Mandiri, and Alam Ar Ridho School.
- Introduction to Community and Culture: A study visit to the Nurul Maksum Islamic Boarding School and an introduction to traditional arts at the Sobokartti Dance Studio.
- Reflection Forum and City Tourism: Interactive discussion of various findings in the field held at FIB Undip as well as the Semarang city tour agenda.
Through this international synergy, FIB Undip is committed to continuing to present an academic space that is adaptive, has a global vision, and brings a positive impact to the progress of inclusive education in Indonesia.
