FIB UNDIP – The world of research and academics is now required to be more collaborative. This spirit is what underlies the warm meeting between the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) with BRIDA Central Java Province with the Faculty of Humanities Diponegoro University (FIB Undip) on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

The meeting that took place in the FIB Undip Grand Meeting Room specifically aimed at the opportunity for strategic cooperation with the Department of Literature and the Department of History.

Opening a Strategic Synergy Space

The event was opened with a warm welcome from the Dean of FIB Undip, Prof. Dr. Alamsyah, M.Hum., who on this occasion was represented by Vice Dean II for Resources, Dr. Dr. Siti Maziyah, M.Hum. In his opening, he emphasized the importance of synergy between state research institutions and educational institutions to explore the cultural wealth and history of Central Java more deeply.

The Presence of Experts and Researchers

The discussion took place familiarly with the presence of department leaders, including the Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Dr. Sukarjo Waluyo, S.S., M.Hum., accompanied by the Study Program Secretary, Laura Andri Retno Martini, S.S., M.A. From the Department of History, there was also Ilham Nur Utomo, S.S., M.Hum., and Bryna Rizkinta Sembiring Meliala, M.Hum., who also gave a perspective on historical research as a history lecturer.

This synergy is expected not only to stop at a round table discussion, but will continue to a real research project that is able to raise local cultural identity to the national or international stage. Through collaboration with the BRIN-BRIDA Team, FIB Undip is optimistic that it can continue to make more meaningful contributions to the advancement of Central Java culture.
