The Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, proudly announces The 4th International Conference on Culture and Sustainable Development (ICOCAS) 2026 as part of the Faculty’s Dies Natalis. Emphasizing global collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange, this international conference serves as an academic platform for addressing strategic issues related to culture, society, and sustainability.

This year, ICOCAS 2026 adopts the theme:

“Rethinking Environmental Sustainability in Indonesia: Environmental Justice and Community Resilience”

The conference highlights the crucial role of the humanities in understanding and responding to contemporary environmental challenges, ecological justice, and community resilience amid increasingly complex global transformations.

ICOCAS 2026 will take place on 4–5 August 2026 in Semarang, Indonesia, bringing together academics, researchers, practitioners, students, and observers of socio-cultural issues from around the world.
